Questions about this trip
How rough is the drive to Natron?
Rough. It is corrugated gravel for hours and it is hot. The landscape is the reward and it is worth it, but do not expect a smooth ride.
Can I climb Ol Doinyo Lengai?
Yes, as an overnight add-on. It starts around midnight and is a hard, steep climb on loose ash. Tell us in advance.
