    Into the park by late morning and an afternoon along the river among the elephants.

    Full day in Tarangire

    Tarangire National Park

    A whole day, including the quieter southern swamps most day visitors never reach.

  3. 03

    Tarangire to Ngorongoro

    Ngorongoro Conservation Area

    North through Karatu to the crater rim, arriving for sunset over the caldera.

  4. 04

    Crater floor, then Lake Manyara and Arusha

    Ngorongoro Crater

    Descend at dawn for a full morning in the caldera, then Manyara on the way back to Arusha.
